Solar Subsidy Amount For instance, households consuming 0 to 150 units per month should install 1 to 2 kW systems, with subsidies ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 60,000. Similarly, households consuming 150 to 300 units per month can install 2 to 3 kW systems and avail subsidies from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 78,000.

This is the method of application:-

    • If you are eligible for the scheme, then first of all you have to go to the official portal of the scheme solarrooftop.gov.in.
    • Here you have to click on Apply and then select your state.
    • Then select your district and enter your house electricity bill number here
  • Step 2
    • After this, give the details of your electricity expenditure and other required information here.
    • Now you have to fill the solar panel information
    • Then you have to tell the length and width of your roof i.e. you have to give complete information about the roof.
  • Step 3
    • After this select solar panel and apply
    • Then the subsidy received under the scheme is sent to your bank account.
